  1. D1: China - Barcelona - Lourdes

    DAY 1: ARRIVE AT BARCELONA. TRANSFER TO LOURDES (FRANCE) (D)

    Arrival at Barcelona. Meet our guide in the Airport. Start our trip to Lourdes, famous town in

    the foots of the north side of the Pyrenees. Driving time: 5h30. Night in hotel.

  2. D2: Lourdes - Gavarnie - Goriz

    DAY 2: LOURDES – GAVARNIE – GORIZ (B,L,D)

    After breakfast we will drive until Gavarnie (50 km, 1 h). Watch the gushing water drop from

    Cirque de Gavarnie, the highest free-falling waterfall in the Pyrenees. From Gavarnie (1.365

    m) drive following the mountain road until Col de Tentes (2.208 m), the starting point of our

    trekking. Traversing the foots of the huge north face of Mt. Taillon (3.144 m) arrive to

    Serradets Refuge and continue the path to the mythical Brecha de Roland (2.807 m) a breach

    in the wall of cliffs that forms the border between France and Spain. Cross the Aragon (Spain)

    side and enter to Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, the oldest national park in

    Europe. Follow the clear path passing near the slopes of El Casco, La Torre and Marbore

    peaks before arriving to Goriz refuge (2.195m), where we will rest at the foot of Monte

    Perdido, the third highest peak of the Pyrenees (3.355m).

  3. D3: Goriz - Torla

    DAY 3: GORIZ – PARKING ORDESA – TORLA (B,L)

    Today we will hike in Ordesa National Park following the Faja de Pelay route. The pathway is

    on a ledge halfway up the Ordesa Canyon, so you will be treated to fantastic views down into

    the valley, and over to the opposite cliffs. Trek hike starts descending from Goriz into de

    Soaso cirque and the Cola de Caballo waterfall. From the waterfall, follow the path

    named Senda de los Cazadores towards the Faja de Pelay. Good views over Three Sisters

    Peaks – Cilindro (3.325m), Monte Perdido (3.355m) and Añisclo (3.254m) – the largest

    limestone massif in Europe. Follow the path allways walking above vertical cliffs and Mirador

    de Calcilarruego viewpoint. The final 2km is a step descent of 650 m vertical loose that lead

    us to the parking area in the Ordesa’s meadows. Meet our private transportation and transfer

    to our hotel in the medieval mountain village of Torla.

  4. D4: Torla - Ainsa - Benasque

    DAY 4: TORLA – AINSA – BENASQUE (B,D)

    Spare day to travel from Torla to Benasque, connecting the two most famous mountain

    massifs in the Pyrenees: Ordesa-Monte Perdido and Maladeta-Aneto. During the day we will

    stop for some sightseeing and visits. We will spend some time to visit Ainsa, one of the best

    preserved medieval villages in the spanish Pyrenees. Free time to lunch. In the afternoon

    drive to Benasque and the Llanos del Hospital Hotel. Night in this nice hotel surrounded by

    the highs peak of Maladeta-Aneto Nature Park.

    NOTE: today it is possible to add short hikes, rock climbing, rafting or canyoning

  5. D5: Benasque - ARTIGA DE LIN - Viella

    DAY 5: BENASQUE – ARTIGA DE LIN – VIELLA (B,L,D)

    This journey connects Aragon region with Catalonia region crossing one of the highest

    mountains passes in this area and with the best views over the highest moutain in the

    Pyrenees, Aneto (3.404 m). From the end of the road in Besurta (1.900 m) our hike will lead

    us the Forau d’Aigualluts a spectacular karstic sinkhole where the water from three glaciers

    seeps through an underground river until they appear in the Aran Valley some kilometres

    below. Enjoy the surroundings with lush green pines and meadows next to a stunning

    waterfall, all witnesses by Aneto peak, who challenging stood at the back. After the Forau

    d’Aigualluts our trail starts climbing to the north passing near the Villamuerta lakes until

    reaching the Port de la Picada (Picada Pass, 2.477 m). The view from the top is amazing. You

    can admire a complete vision of Maladata-Aneto massif and also the surrounding peaks of La

    Mina and Salvaguardia. In the other side enter to Aran Valley (Catalonia) and descent into

    Plan de l’Artiga and Artiga de Lin refuge (1.480 m). Before taking the transportation to our

    hotel we will visit the Uelhs deth Joeu where the water from the Forau d’Aigualluts reappear

    on the surface. 30 minutes transfer to Viella, the main village in the valley. Night in hotel.

  6. D6: Viella - PONT DE RESEC - COLOMERS

    DAY 6: VIELLA – PONT DE RESEC – COLOMERS (B,L,D)

    First stage of our Aiguestortes National Park traverse. From Viella drive into the Valarties

    valley and arrive to Pont de Resec (1.400 m). The first part of the path lead us to Restanca

    refuge (2.010 m) located near a beautiful lake. Continue ascending passing the Cap deth Port

    Lake to arrive the Crestada Pass (2.475 m). Follow the GR-11 signals and continue to Port de

    Caldes (2.567 m), the highest point of the journey. Enjoy the panorama over dozens of alpine

    lakes and granite peaks of Montardo (2.833 m), Tuc de Monges (2.707 m), Tuc de la Ribereta

    (2.675 m) and Pic de Travessani (2.738 m). Descent into Colomers glacial cirque. Night in

    Colomers mountain refuge (2.135 m)

  7. D7: COLOMERS - SANT MAURICI - ESPOOT

    DAY 7: COLOMERS – SANT MAURICI – ESPOT (B,L)

    Second stage of our Aiguestortes National Park traverse. The Colomers basin has the highest

    concentration of alpine lakes of all the Pyrnees with nearly 50 lakes. From the hut follow the

    GR-11 path and climb Ratera Pass (2.580 m). If the weather is good we’ll also have the chance

    to ascend Ratera Peak (2.862 m) that offers us one of the best panoramic views in the area.

    At this point, we will begin our descent through a forest to Amitges Refuge (nice mountain

    hut at the food of Amitges rock spires) and Sant Maurici Lake, effectively completing our

    Aiguestortes traverse. Upon arrival, taxis will be waiting to take us to the ville of Espot. Night

    in hostel.
