  1. D1: China - Stavanger

Meet with the guide in Stavanger airport. Transfer to your hotel. Stavanger is a town and a region in South Western Norway - well known for it's oil industry. However, it is also lovely to visit as a tourist due to it's high degree of 18th and 19th century wooden houses at it's centre, creating an intimate and welcoming village feel. Of course, with this comes lovely old cathedrals, museums, markets and cobblestone streets.

    Transport : minibus (0.5-1 hour)

Accommodation : Comfort Hotel Square (or similar)

  2. D2: Kjerag - Stavanger

Very early in the morning we will travel from Sandnes southwards towards Ålgård via the E39 road. From Ålgård you have to take the Fv 45 road to Sirdal, and then follow the

directions to either Lysebotn, Øygardstøl or Kjerag. About 130 km and 2h30 hours from Sandnes. We will leave the vehicles in the parking lot of Øygardstøl. Here starts the march on foot towards Kjerag. Kjerag is one of the walls that dominates the Lysefjorden. Its highest point is 1,110 m above sea level, with the vertical fall to the fjord waters of 984 m. Here is the famous rock of Kjeragbolten, embedded between two walls and suspended in the abyss. The march starts with a succession of strong ascents through inclined granite plates. In the most exposed sections there are installed chains that help us in the march. Once at the top of the mountain you will have to cross two small valleys, which will make us lose altitude and then recover it again. In this area at the beginning of July may be traces of snowfields. In the last section you walk purely on top of the granite plates until you reach the top of the mountain. Spectacular panoramic views of the Lyse fjord, and the waterfall that emerges from the walls. Descent through the same itinerary to the parking. In the afternoon trip back to Sandnes.

NOTE *: During the spring and autumn, and depending on the weather and mountain

conditions, the hike to Kjerag might be dangerous. In this case the guide could decide to change

the program of days 2 and 3 as described below:

Rock, has been named time and time again as one of the world’s most spectacular viewpoints. It's the most visited natural attraction in Norway, hanging nearly 600 meters above the

Lysefjord, and its trail will likely be the most crowded of the three rock formations on your itinerary. The typical route up Pulpit Rock takes about 4 hours roundtrip on hilly terrain. Once

you reach the mountain plateau, take some time to enjoy the spectacular view and snap plenty of memorable photos. In the afternoon drive the scenic road nº13 (Ryfylke Road). Here you will

encounter high barren mountains, lush hillsides, sheer mountainsides and deep fjords. There are lots of opportunities on the way to make short detours and to take a break from driving.

hiking, and you'll follow the clear-cut path to your first lookout point. Bask in the stunning view of Folgefonna National Park before continuing towardsTyssebotn. Here you'll find deep holes

NORWAY in the mountain, made by sand and stone that rotated over time in the now dry Tyssestrengene Waterfall - once the world's fifth tallest waterfall. The hike ends at

The old Hanseatic capital on the west coast of Norway is a delight, and famous for its history as a trading town and fishing community. The old town of Bergen, Bryggen (north side of the

bay), is also a place to wander and explore with wonderful wooden houses and alleyways. You can get a good perceptive on how past and present Norwegian communities live and work by

wandering these back streets. Between 1350 and 1750, this area used to be a Hansa dock, trading and processing area. The wooden houses at Bryggen today were built after the devastating city fire of 1702, but are probably very similar to the buildings that were there before. Despite neglect and fires (Norwegian cities had a habit of burning down because everything is made of wood), a considerable number of buildings have survived and are now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

NORWAY for the goat cheese. After dinner drive 20 minutes to Gudvanger. Board the cruise and enjoy sailing the Naeroyfjord (UNESCO Fjord) during 2h40 minutes.
