  1. D1: China - Kathmandu

    Arrival in the capital of Nepal. Depending on the arrival time, we make a city tour to see some contrasts and animations in the streets of Kathmandu. A local guide shows us his hometown: Kathmandu, its old streets and temples. He also gives us a first glimpse into the lives of Nepali.

  2. D2: Kathmandu - Pokhara

    After breakfast, we leave Kathmandu for Pokhara. We see the Himalayan range after crossing a Mountain Pass (1400m) at Thankot, which is an exit point from the valley of Kathmandu. We drive through green hills and valleys all the way up to Pokhara. Afternoon, free time to visit Pokhara or stroll along the banks of the Phewa Lake.

  3. D3: Pokhara - Jomsom - Kagbeni

    We have an early morning flight (20 minutes) to Jomsom. We fly between two giant mountains in the Himalayas: Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Annapurna (8163m). This fabulous flight lands us at Jomsom, a small city on the bank of the Kali Gandaki River, flowing though the deepest valley in the world. From Jomsom, we start our biking trip. We start with a flat, rocky and off-road track along the bank of the Kali Gandaki River up to Kagbeni: a fantastic village built in an arid landscape and the entry point to Upper Mustang. In the afternoon, visit the Kagbeni Monastery.

  4. D4: Kagbeni - Chele

    After breakfast, we start our journey with some official formalities as we will be entering Upper Mustang, which requires a special permit for trekking and biking. We ride the Kali Gandaki gorge slowing gaining altitude. We ride along a flat track most of the time Chaile with few ups and downs.

  5. D5: Chele - Geling

    Today, we ride uphill most of the time. There are many passes above 4000m. After each pass, the ride downhill is just fantastic. We enjoy a great view on the Nilgiri and Annapurna mountains. Before arriving at Ghiling, we will ride on a gentle path then we have a sensational downhill ride.

  6. D6: Geling - Tsarang

    Today, we start with an uphill ride, through many beautiful villages on a single track. After the highest Pass of Nyi-La (4020m) -- from where we have a wonderful view on the Mustang region, Nilgiri and Annapurna Mountains -- we’ll ride all the way down to the beautiful village of Ghami. After Ghami, we’ll ride downhill and can spot yaks grazing in the pastures. We cross another Pass at Chinggel and ride downhill to Charang.

  7. D7: Tsarang - Lo Manthang

    Today, we’ll finally Lo-Manthang, capital of Mustang, also called “the walled Buddhist city”. It is an easy ride as we have only the Lo-la pass (3820m) to cross. The landscape is amazing to take some wonderful photos. Our ride takes place along some jeep tracks as well as some trekking trails. It takes half an hour to reach Lo-Manthang after the pass. After lunch, we have free time to rest and relax.

  8. D8: Lo Manthang - Chhosar - Lo Manthang

    Excursion towards Chhosar (3900m) and back to Lhomanthang: After break, we start our ride towards Chhosar. It’s a flat track most of the time. Upon arrival at Chhosar, we visit few caves with interior mural paintings as well as a monastery. We ride back to Lo-Manthang through the same trail.

  9. D9: Lo Manthang - Jomsom

    Today, we will be leaving Lo-Manthang, the beautiful capital of Mustang. We drive along the Kali Gandaki River all the way down to Jomsom. It’s a lovely day where we continue to see soaring mountains, colorful rocks and caves. The great highlight is the drive along the Kali Gandaki River! Sixty million years ago, the Kali Gandaki River -believed to be older than the Himalayas - began cutting through the area between Mount Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Annapurna (8091m). And that’s where we drive!

  10. D10: Jomsom - Kathmandu

    It is well known for its beautiful temples, arts and crafts. Similarly, its small, hidden Buddhist monasteries called vihar are another beauty to see.

  11. D11: Kathmandu

    This is a security day in Kathmandu in case of domestic flight cancellations with an option to visit Bodhnath, the largest Buddhist stupa in the world with the Buddha's discerning eyes as well as some Buddhist monasteries around. Pashupatinath: After the Buddhist stupa, we visit the most important religious temple of Hindu people. It is called Pashupatinath and belongs to the Hindu God of destruction and reconstruction. Thousans of Hindu pilgrims from Nepal and India pray, dance, sing and make offerings in this temple every day. Traditionally, when Hindu people die, they are cremated This is the most important site for cremations that take place on the bank of the holy river called Bagmati.
