Located at the foot of Mount Wakayama, Takanoyama is a famous spiritual dojo in Japan. Since the Heian Period, there has been an ancient pilgrimage path connecting Kumano Hon-miya, with a history of more than 1,200 years, and as the main mountain of the Japanese Tantric Sect of Shingon, the temple is a holy place of worship and cultivation, as the place where the spiritual energy of Japan is gathered. The building has a long history and is known as Little Kyoto.
