DAY 1: THE BEGINNING: ARRIVAL TO SOMPORT VALLY

DAY 2: DESCENT INTO MEDIEVAL ARAGON (5+5 km)
Breakfast.
We will start our walk from Puerto de Somport and descend from Somport, through the
Valley of Aragon, passing through Canfranc (largest never used international train station of
the world). Steep mountains, medieval fortresses and waterfalls along our route down to
Jaca. Visit of the famous Caves of the Guixas, Santa Cruz de Seros and Monastery of San Juan
de la Peña. Monastery from the Xth century, famous for being only place in Spain holding
secretly the Holy Grail. Stop for Pilgrims on their way to Santiago. Newly restored hospedería
inside the monastery…

DAY 3: WELCOME TO GREEN NAVARRA (5+10km)
Breakfast.
We walk one of the most impressive parts of the Camino de Santiago the Foz de Lumbier,
about 5 km of tunnels and steep limestone cliffs along a beautiful canyoning. In our send
stage of the day we walk the last 10 kilometers before arriving the one of the most important
villages of the Camino de Santiago: Puente la Reina, this is where several paths come
together.

DAY 4: HISTORY OF SPAIN PAMPLONA, ATAPUERCA AND BURGOS
Breakfast.
Free morning in Pamplona, founded by the Romans and located on the Pilgrim's Way to
Santiago, Pamplona is world famous for its bull runs called San Fermin in July and because in
was home of English writer Ernest Hemingway who lived here during several periods of his life.
Enjoy a wide range of activities that include walking around century-old walls and cobbled
streets; resting in parks and terraces or trying its delicious tapas (or pinchos as they're known
locally).
The paleontological site of Atapuerca is undoubtedly one of the most important and famous in
the world, situated some distance from the village itself. The Camino of Santiago does pass
directly through the caves of Atapuerca although nowadays Pilgrims must walk around.
Afternoon transfer to Burgos and free time to visit the cathedral and city centre.

DAY 5: HIGHLANDS OF CASTILLA AND LEON (10 km)

DAY 6: GALICIAN SEAFOOD AND MAGICAL FORESTS (10 km)

In O Cebreiro we will visit the tomb of the famous monk of Elias Viñas he invented the yellow
arrow that indicate the way to Santiago. Our stage for today is one of the most beautiful stages
of the Galician Camino de Santiago, from San Xil the path takes us through dense and mystic
Chestnut forest and green farmland with some very few tiny Galician villages where it seems
time did not change since the medieval ages.

DAY 7: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA AND SUNSET ATE THE END OF THE WORLD (7 km)
Breakfast, lunch.
Today we will walk two most emblematic parts of the Camino de Santiago. We will walk from
Lavacolla / Monte Gozo to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela where, as all pilgrims do
for ages, attend Cathedral pilgrim mass. In the afternoon we will walk the last five kilometers
the Camino de Santiago, and the only place where the path goes over the beach until the cape
of Finisterre, the end of the world where we will witness one of the best sunsets of our lives…
