DAY 4. TIROL. ZILLERTAL VALLEY
From Berchtesgarten drive to Zillertal Valley. Starting point of our 2,4 km circular walk that leads from the Kaltenbacher ski hut to the beautiful Hubertus chapel, built close to the
Zillertaler Höhenstraße in 1984 to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the Tyrolean rebellion against occupation. It’s quiet and pleasant up here, and there’s a fantastic view of Zillertal’s mountain world during almost all of this circular hike. Family-friendly walk on which you‘ll meet some special local residents: playful marmots. At midday drive 50 km to Krimml.
Here we will visit the Krimml Waterfalls, with a total height of 380 metres, are the highest waterfall in Austria. Reach the lowest waterfall on foot in 10-15 minutes. From there the serpentine Waterfall Trail leads up to the uppermost waterfall (approx. 1:15 hours on foot) and further to the Krimml Ache Valley. Observation platforms thereby provide spectacular views of the thunderous volumes of water of the Krimml Waterfalls.

DAY 5. HOHE TAUERN NATIONAL PARK. ALPE ADRIA TRAIL STAGE 1
It’s time to look forward to the first stage of the Alpe Adria Trail, a unique experience connecting the Alps with the Adriatic sea through valleys and mountains of three different
countries: Austria, Eslovenia and Italy. This first journey, basically in descent, will allow you tovisit the largest glacier in the Eastern Alps (Pasterze Glacier) with views over the highest
mountain in Austria (Grossglockner, 3.798 m), the Lake Sandersee, the mighty Gößnitzwaterfall and last but not least the famous pilgrimage church in Heiligenblut. From Roman
times until the 17th century, Heiligenblut was the most productive gold mining region inEurope and is therefore still often referred to as the “gold mining village” even today.

DAY 6. TRIGLAV NATIONAL PARK: BOHINJ, BLED AND LJUBLJANA
In the morning drive (to Bohinj Lake, in the heart of Triglav National Park. Lake Bohinj is the largest, permanent, natural lake in Slovenia, covering an area of 318 ha. Take the cable car up
to Vogel (1.537 m). Enjoy a short hike (4,2 km - +/250 m) to Sija Peak (1.980 m). Enjoy the views over the Julische Alps and Mount Triglav. Depending on the group motivation it is
possible to continue to Vogel summit, 1.922 m (extra 3 km).In the afternoon, after the hiking, free time for tourism. We will start visiting the famous Lake Bled, free time to walk around. Continue to Ljubljana, Slovenia vibrant capital city. Take your time to explore by yourself the old town, full of historic buildings and cultural hotspots, the castle, with stunning views over the city, relax in Tivoli Park and take a photo in the famous Dragon Bridge, the city icon. We will give you time to find a good place to have dinner. After dinner return to Kranjska Gora (drive time 1h15). Night in hotel
